Miss Scarlett® Anise

Miss Scarlett Anise is an upright evergreen shrub with aromatic glossy foliage that emerges light green and darkens as it matures.  Fragrant quarter-sized scarlet red flowers bloom from mid spring into fall.  Grows best in part sun and moist soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Water Regularly and keep soil evenly moist.  Shelter from the harsh afternoon sun. Mulch to keep roots cool and conserve moisture.  Apply an acid fertilizer in early spring.  Prune to shape after flowering.

LANDSCAPE USES: Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Wildlife Gardens, Privacy Screen, Foundation Plantings, Hedges, and Containers.
