Abelia Edward Goucher
Abelia Edward Goucher is a compact semi-evergreen shrub with lightly arching branches and glossy dark green foliage that turns purple-bronze in fall. Abelia Edward Goucher produces profuse clusters of small fragrant pink flowers with orange throats from midsummer into fall, attracting bees and butterflies. Abelia Edward Goucher performs best in full sun and thrives in rich, moist, well-drained soils. Once established, Abelia Edward Goucher is very drought tolerant, making it an excellent choice for borders, foundation plantings, and mixed shrub beds.
