Buxus Franklin’s Gem Korean (Buxus sinica var. insularis) is an extremely compact, low-growing evergreen boxwood shrub. Its small leaves are bright green in summer and turn olive-green in winter, providing year-round structure and color.
Buxus Franklin’s Gem Korean makes an ideal low hedge, edging, or backdrop for flower beds. This boxwood prefers sunny to partial shade locations with well-drained soil. Once established, Buxus Franklin’s Gem Korean is drought tolerant and requires minimal maintenance.
