Distylium Blue Cascade®

Distylium Blue Cascade® is a compact evergreen shrub prized for its graceful, rounded form and distinctive cascading habit. The layered foliage of Distylium Blue Cascade® creates a soft, flowing effect in the landscape, emerging with warm rust-colored tones before maturing to an attractive matte blue-green. In winter through early spring, Distylium Blue Cascade® produces small red-maroon flowers along arching stems, providing subtle seasonal interest when few shrubs are in bloom. These early flowers attract butterflies and other pollinators, adding ecological value to the garden. Distylium Blue Cascade® performs best in full sun and prefers slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil, but it is highly adaptable.
