Miscanthus Morning Light
Miscanthus Morning Light – Maiden Grass is a late-blooming, variegated ornamental grass that forms dense clumps of narrow, arching, grass-like foliage. The narrow leaves of Miscanthus Morning Light are light green with white margins, giving the plant a silvery appearance that turns straw-beige by winter. In late summer, airy tassel-like copper-red plumes bloom above the foliage, gradually maturing to silvery white and persisting into winter. Thriving in full sun with moist, well-drained soil, Miscanthus Morning Light is a striking, low-maintenance ornamental grass, though it can be aggressive and invasive in milder climates.
