Cephalotaxus Prostrata
Cephalotaxus Prostrata (Creeping Japanese Plum Yew) is a slow-growing evergreen conifer shrub with a spreading habit. Cephalotaxus Prostrata features long needle-like foliage that emerges lime green in spring and matures to dark green, holding its color through winter. If edible fruits are desired, Cephalotaxus Prostrata requires both a female plant and a male pollinator. This adaptable shrub prefers partial sun and rich, well-drained soils and is drought tolerant once established. Cephalotaxus Prostrata makes an excellent groundcover or low-growing foundation plant for shade gardens.
