Edgeworthia chrysantha
Edgeworthia chrysantha (Paperbush Plant) is a well-branched, winter-blooming deciduous shrub with a rounded habit and striking seasonal interest. Edgeworthia chrysantha produces clusters of strongly fragrant, small trumpet-shaped creamy flowers that bloom on bare cinnamon-brown branches from winter into early spring, appearing before the foliage emerges.
The slender blue-green foliage of Edgeworthia chrysantha (Paperbush Plant) turns a soft yellow in fall, adding additional seasonal color. This shrub blooms best in part shade and moist, well-drained soil. Edgeworthia chrysantha is intolerant of drought and benefits from consistent moisture for best performance.
