Coppertone Distylium is a dense mid-sized evergreen shrub with a rounded habit. Its foliage emerges coppery-red and matures to blue-green. The small red flowers bloom on arching stems in winter and early spring attracting butterflies and pollinators. Grows best in full sun and slightly acidic, moist well-drained soil. Tolerates drought and wet soils.
