Brilliance Autumn Fern

Dryopteris erythrosora 'Brilliance'

Brilliance Autumn Fern is a vase-shaped evergreen fern with arching tri-pinnate fronds.  These frilly, papery fronds emerge bright copper orange and mature to dark green with brilliant red spores on the leaves in fall.  Thrives in rich, moist, acidic soils with some shade.  Tolerates drought once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Do not allow soils to dry out.  Shelter from winds.  No serious diseases or pest issues.  Will spread slowly.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Garden, Rock Gardens, Naturalized Areas, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Leopard Plant, Coral Bells, Lungwort
