Azalea Renee Michelle
Azalea Renee Michelle is a dense, mid-sized evergreen shrub with prolific clusters of 2–3 inch ruffled pink flowers that begin blooming in early spring, attracting butterflies. Azalea Renee Michelle is a versatile plant that performs best in partial sun and thrives in acidic, rich, well-drained soils. Azalea Renee Michelle is also more cold hardy than many azaleas, tolerating temperatures as low as -10°F, making it an excellent choice for cooler climates and woodland gardens.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: A low maintenance plant. Moderate water needs, properly drained soils is a must to avoid root rot. Mulch helps to keep roots from drying out. Keep away from drip lines of the walnut family. Acidify soils as needed (PH range of 5 to 6.5) Can use sulfur or iron sulfate to lower ph, and lime or limestone to raise PH. Southern climates with excessive humidity are more prone to powdery mildew, twig blights, and rust.
