MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system. Prune in late winter to maintain shape and encourage fruit production. Tolerates a range of soil types but prefers well-drained conditions. Protect from frost in colder zones. Resistant to most pests and diseases but may occasionally attract fig beetles or aphids.
