Azalea Encore® Autumn Sunset®
Azalea Encore® Autumn Sunset® is a compact, low-growing evergreen azalea shrub with small green foliage. Azalea Encore® Autumn Sunset® produces masses of 2.5-inch red-orange flowers that bloom first in mid-spring and continue to rebloom into fall, providing long-lasting color throughout the season. This versatile azalea performs best in partial sun and thrives in acidic, rich, well-drained soils. Azaleas are excellent pollinator and butterfly attractors, making Azalea Encore® Autumn Sunset® a beautiful choice for foundation plantings, woodland gardens, and mixed shrub beds.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: A low maintenance plant. Moderate water needs, properly drained soils is a must to avoid root rot. Mulch helps to keep roots from drying out. Keep away from drip lines of the walnut family. Acidify soils as needed (PH range of 5 to 6.5) Can use sulfur or iron sulfate to lower ph, and lime or limestone to raise PH. Southern climates with excessive humidity are more prone to powdery mildew, twig blights, and rust.
