Distylium Coppertone™
Distylium Coppertone™ is a dense, mid-sized evergreen shrub with a naturally rounded habit, making it a strong choice for foundations, hedges, and mixed borders. Its eye-catching foliage emerges a warm coppery-red before maturing to an attractive blue-green, providing year-round color and texture in the landscape.
In late winter through early spring, Distylium Coppertone™ produces small red flowers along arching stems that attract butterflies and other pollinators at a time when floral resources are limited. This adaptable evergreen shrub grows best in full sun and prefers slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil. Once established, Distylium Coppertone™ is tolerant of both drought and occasional wet soils, offering excellent performance with minimal maintenance.
