Itea Little Henry®
Itea Little Henry® is a dwarf deciduous shrub celebrated for its long-lasting fall color. The shiny, bright green oval leaves of Itea Little Henry® turn garnet-red and orange in autumn, holding their color until early winter. In spring, tiny fragrant white flowers bloom on drooping cylindrical racemes, blanketing the shrub in delicate blossoms. For the best fall color, plant Itea Little Henry® in full sun with rich, moist, well-drained soils.
As a native plant, Itea virginica, the species behind Itea Little Henry®, serves as a host for the American Holly Azure butterfly in coastal plains and provides food for bees, butterflies, and birds, making Itea Little Henry® both a beautiful and wildlife-friendly addition to any garden.
