Euonymus a. Compactus
Euonymus a. Compactus, commonly known as Dwarf Burning Bush, is a dense deciduous shrub with a naturally rounded, compact habit. The small, slightly drooping leaves of Euonymus a. Compactus emerge dark green in spring and summer before transforming into a brilliant scarlet red in fall, making this shrub a standout for autumn color.
Dwarf Burning Bush produces inconspicuous flowers that are not ornamental, allowing the foliage to remain the main attraction. Euonymus a. Compactus develops its best fall color when grown in full sun and performs well in moist, well-drained soil. This reliable deciduous shrub is an excellent choice for borders, foundation plantings, and mass plantings where vivid fall color is desired.
