Distylium Swing Low® (Distylium 'PIIDIST-VI') is a low-spreading evergreen shrub with dense horizontal branching and willow-like blue-green foliage that emerges bright green. Distylium Swing Low® forms a broad, ground-hugging habit that works beautifully as a foundation planting, border edge, or mass planting in landscapes.

In early spring, Distylium Swing Low® produces small fringed red flowers in thick clusters that attract butterflies and other pollinators. This adaptable evergreen shrub grows best in full sun and prefers slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil. Once established, Distylium Swing Low® tolerates both drought and wet soils, making it a durable, low-maintenance choice for many garden settings.
