Muhlenbergia capillaris

Muhlenbergia capillaris (Pink Muhly Grass) is a delicate ornamental grass that forms dense clumps of upright, grass-like foliage. The narrow dark green leaves are topped with fluffy pink plumes that bloom above the foliage in late summer and fall, while tan seed heads persist into winter. Thriving in full sun with moist, well-drained soil, Muhlenbergia capillaris adds graceful texture and seasonal color to borders, perennial beds, and naturalized areas.
