Cephalotaxus Fastigiata
Cephalotaxus Fastigiata (Upright Japanese Plum Yew) is a carefree, slow-growing evergreen conifer shrub with an exceptionally dense upright habit. Cephalotaxus Fastigiata features glossy needle-like foliage in a deep blackish-green color that grows in a bottlebrush form and retains its color year-round. If edible fruits are desired, Cephalotaxus Fastigiata requires both a female plant and a male pollinator. This adaptable shrub prefers partial sun and rich, well-drained soils, and is drought tolerant once established. Cephalotaxus Fastigiata is an excellent choice for narrow spaces, formal hedges, or as a striking vertical accent in the landscape.
