Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Golden Mop'

Golden Mop is a ground-hugging dwarf evergreen conifer shrub with a mounding habit.  It’s thread-like green-gold leaves droop loosely creating a mop appearance and retains its color into winter.  Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Water regularly but needs well-drained soil.  Juniper blight, root rot, and certain insect pests can be issues if soil to wet. Shelter from hard winds.  

 LANDSCAPE USES: Specimen or Groups plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rock Garden, Foundation Planting, Hedges, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Boxwood, Weigela, Coneflower
