Fudingzhu Tea Olive is a large, dense reblooming evergreen shrub with dark green toothed foliage year round.  Fudingzhu has an exceptionally long bloom season- the highly fragrant white flower clusters coat the stems in from early fall all the way into spring and are followed by small edible fruits.  Best planted in part sun with acidic rich and moist well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.  The flowers can be used in teas or sauces.
