Trachelospermum asiaticum 'Ogon Nishiki'

Japanese Star Jasmine is a lovely heavily variegated multi-colored evergreen perennial vine that can be used for climbing or a groundcover.  The new growth can be amber, yellow and red before maturing to a dark glossy green.  Small fragrant white flowers bloom in summer. Grows best with partial sun and well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Water regularly.  It will need support if used for climbing.

 LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Rock Gardens, Groundcover, Walls and Trellises, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Hibiscus, Lantana, Plumbago
